Crash Kills Four Over the Holiday's

PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. -- A local girl was seriously injured and four others killed in a three-car collision Saturday night.

Elliott Hull, 6, of Eldon, Mo., was a passenger in a 2009 Chevrolet traveling eastbound on Hwy 50, a half mile east of Route W, at 5:28 p.m., Dec. 26, when a westbound 2002 Ford ZX2 crossed the centerline, rotated counter-clockwise, struck the rear of a third vehicle and then skidded into the path of the Chevrolet, driven by Daniel Hull, 31, of Eldon.

Elliott Hull and Jennifer Hull, 33, also of Eldon, were transported by ambulance to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, Mo.

The collision killed the driver and three passengers in the Ford ZX2:

    Rolla Bank Robbed at Gun Point


    (Rolla, MO) -- Police in Rolla, Missouri are looking for a man who robbed a bank this morning.

    Investigators say the hold-up happened just after 9:00 am at the Town and Country Bank on North Highway 63 in Rolla.

    Investigators say the man, whose image was caught on bank surveillance cameras, walked up to a teller, showed a pistol and demanded money.

    He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
    No one was hurt in the robbery.

    Lake West Junior Sports League

    Lake West Christian Academy along with Living Water Christian Center are proud to announce that there will be Lake West Junior Sports League started for the westside communities of Greenview, Hurricane Deck, Sunrise Beach and Laurie areas. Lake West Junior Sports League plans consist of wrestling, basketball, tumbling, volleyball, soccer, softball, baseball, and football. Lake West Junior Sports League is the alternative sports program for all children in lake area.

    Pastor Tony Oddo of Living Water Christian Center in Sunrise Beach has been given the vision to start a Junior Sports League on the west side of the lake. Tony Oddo is on the advisory board at Lake West Christian Academy and has joined forces with Lake West Christian Academy, to use the fabulous facility not only as a place for excellent education but as the hub for the first junior sports league on this side of the lake. Lake West Christian Academy has just put in an official size, multi-purpose basketball court with bleachers last year. “There is much need for community support for our youth’s future. This is a grass root attempt to create a healthy, pro-active environment for the youth in this area. We need both financial support, as well as, leadership”, said Oddo.

    January leagues will begin. Both leagues are open for boys and girls, ages 5-18. The Wrestling Club is heading by Brink Arnold.
