The Cave Restaurant and Resort, Richland Missouri

Gary Dyer, formerly of Gary's Catfish and BBQ in Lebanon, Missouri, and current owner of Gary's Place - Italian Food & More, also in Lebanon has recently purchased and opened the Cave Restaurant in Richland, Missouri. The restaurant, which seats 225 is located in a cave. A beautiful view of the Gasconade River, and delicious food.

Groundbreaking Planned for U.S. 65 Widening in Benton County

Groundbreaking Planned for U.S. 65 Widening in Benton County

The event will start at 10:30 a.m. and be held on right of way near Route 65 in Warsaw, just south of the Route 7 interchange. From the interchange, travel the outer roadway south for approximately a half mile to the ceremony location. The event is open to the public and will be held rain or shine.The $19.3 million project includes widening the highway to four lanes from south of Route 52 to just north of the Osage River in Warsaw. When completed, the new divided highway will have two northbound lanes and two southbound lanes.
Chester Bross ConstructionCO./C.B. Equipment, Inc/. of Hannibal, Mo. is contracted to complete the project. Weather permitting, work will start within the next week and will be completed in the summer 2012. The project is being paid for through voter approved Amendment 3 funding.
This project is part of a larger effort to widen and improve safety on Route 65 through Benton County.
Motorists are encouraged to stay alert and drive safely through construction areas.

Steamboat Landing at Drake Harbor

Steamboat Landing at Drake Harbor, has been reborn. When completed, it will be part of a land and water trail system. This section of trail systems, behind the Community Building, will be a 10 foot wide by approximately 1000 foot long boardwalk. It will have the capability to accommodate watercraft on the Lake of the Ozarks. Eventually, it will have the capability to tie up 64 boats of various sizes. This will provide the opportunity for immediate access to the waterfront downtown and the ever growing network of recreational trails.

One good use deserves another, so don’t miss the
opportunity to shop or sell gently used items
There will be a $10 fee to cover maps and advertising.
There will also be numerous City employees with sale
booths set up on the City Hall parking lot. This year
limited spaces at City Hall are available to the public at
$15.00 each (2 parking spaces) with a confirmed
reservation.
This day full of fun will also include Rummage Bingo!!
Pick up your Rummage Bingo card with your map and list
of participating addresses at www.osagebeach.org, City
Hall, Central Bank, and KK Eagle Stop. Then just visit 10
of the participating rummage sales, get your bingo card
stamped, and return it to City Hall to be entered for many
AWESOME prizes. The Grand Prize is a “Taste of the
Lake” basket full of great things that the lake area has to
offer. Please note that the rummage sales located at City
Hall parking lot will only count toward one stamp on the
Bingo card.
Want to be a participant? Sign-up forms will be available
at www.osagebeach.org and City Hall July 6th. Complete
and return the form with the fee to City Hall by Friday,
September 3, 2010.
