Missouri Council for Exceptional Children holds their Annual Awards Ceremony.

The Missouri Council for Exceptional Children (MO-CEC) recently held its annual conference at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Along with educational sessions and social events, the conference included the Annual Awards Ceremony.
Tyler resident, Dr. Nancy Nichols was recipient of the 3rd Annual Friend in Education Award. This award is presented to an outstanding business individual or group who has demonstrated dedication in the field of Special Education in the State of Missouri. This award will be given to one business individual or group for exemplary contribution and support of students with disabilities.

Dr. Nichols has been a strong supporter of special education and the professionals who work in the field through her research and publications in the field of education,” said MO-CEC 2010 Awards Chair, Cecelia Coppenbarger. “We are pleased to present the third Friend in Education award to her.”
