Osage Beach, MO (October 12, 2010) – Surdyke Yamaha & Marina is hosting the inaugural Fall Classic Races on

Sunday, October 17th, a dirt bike motocross race at River Bottom Motocross Park located at Cry Baby Campground

in Kaiser, Missouri. A portion of race proceeds go to Offroad Riders Matter, a not-for-profit charity “to get kids off

the street and in the dirt”.

The motocross races have classes for all ages and sizes, making it a family friendly event. Practice is

on Saturday, October 16th, followed by the races on Sunday, October 17th. The Fall Classic is spearheaded by

Greg Surdyke, owner of Surdyke Yamaha & Marina in Osage Beach, MO. Greg grew up racing dirt bikes and

contributes his years of competitive racing as an activity that kept him out of trouble in his youth. “When kids have

an extra curricular activity like riding and racing dirt bikes, it helps funnel their young energy in a positive way.

Instead of getting high on drugs, they can get high on the adrenaline rush that riding a dirt bike provides,” Surdyke

says. This very line of thinking was the catalyst for the formation of Offroad Riders Matter, a not-for-profit charity

lead by Surdyke to keep kids out of trouble from the temptations of drugs, theft, violence, etc., by introducing them

into the dirt bike lifestyle.
