Water Symposium 2010 Lake of the Ozarks

OSAGE BEACH, MO. — A two-day symposium on improving water quality at the Lake of the Ozarks opened on Aug. 17 in Osage Beach, Mo. The event includes presentations on topics including the science of water testing and economic development. Water quality has been a hot-button issue for the area since a scandal involving E. coli contamination at the lake last year instigated a comprehensive review of water and sewage issues.
